1 Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text information that is stored in the Internet browser or by the Internet browser on the user's computer system. When a user accesses a website, a cookie can be stored on the user's operating system. This cookie contains a characteristic string of characters that allows the browser to be uniquely identified when the website is accessed. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. On the one hand, we use so-called session cookies. These are automatically deleted after closing the browser. They store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the joint session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to our website.
We use session cookies to optimize the user-friendliness and to analyze user behavior. On the other hand, we use WK cookies. By using the WK cookie, the shopping cart user is identified so that your shopping cart can be restored. The following data is stored and transmitted in the cookies: session ID (guest), server token (session ID) of the web server network (user), list of the product groups visited, status of the current shopping cart, status of the old shopping carts, status of the watch lists and request list, key for file uploads. The purpose of the use of cookies is to simplify the use of websites for users. Some functions of our website cannot be offered without the use of cookies. For these, it is necessary that the browser is recognized even after a page change. The user data collected by cookies is not used to create user profiles. The legal basis for the processing of personal data using cookies is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Our legitimate interest in this data processing results from the purpose of optimizing our website and increasing customer satisfaction. Cookies are stored on the user's computer and transmitted from the user to our site. Therefore, as a user, you also have full control over the use of cookies. By changing the settings in your Internet browser, you can deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies. Cookies that have already been stored can be deleted at any time. This can also be done automatically. If cookies are deactivated for our website, it may no longer be possible to use all functions of the website to their full extent.
1.1 Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (hereinafter ''Google'') with registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses text files called cookies, which are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is transmitted to a Google server in Ireland and stored there. When using Google Analytics, we use the so-called IP masking by ''_anonymizeIp()'', which shortens the last octet of the IP address. As soon as the data is received in the data collection network, it is anonymized before it is stored, so that a personal reference is excluded. Your IP address will therefore be shortened beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Google uses this information generated from the cookies to evaluate your interactions with the website and to create reports on website activity. With the help of the statistics, we can optimize our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. According to Google, the shortened IP address ensures the security of the service and provides information about the origin of users. We cannot rule out the possibility that Google may also transmit information from cookies to the USA and store it there. For conditional cases in which Google transfers personal data to the USA, Google LLC has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, which guarantees compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU and can be viewed under https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active
The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
The retention period for data at the user and event level is 14 months. The data will then be deleted. Further information on data protection at Google can be found under https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
1.2 Google Maps
We use Google Maps and the Google Maps API to visually display maps and places. When using Google Maps, insofar as the data is not stored on the local servers of our online presence, Google also collects, processes and uses data on the use of the Maps functions by visitors to the websites. Further information on data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy under http://www.google.com/privacypolicy.html. There you can also change your settings in the privacy center so that you can manage and protect your data. The terms of use of Google Maps can be found under https://www.google.com/maps/about/ and https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=en.
2 LinkedIn
Our website uses a button of the social network LinkedIn, which is operated by LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("LinkedIn"). LinkedIn's buttons are recognizable by the corresponding logo or the "Recommend" button. Please note that when you click the button on our website, a connection is established between your respective Internet browser and the LinkedIn server. LinkedIn is thus informed that this online presence was visited with your IP address. If you click on the LinkedIn "Recommend" button and are logged into your LinkedIn account at the same time, you have the option of linking content from our website to your LinkedIn profile page. In doing so, you enable LinkedIn to assign your visit to our website to you or your user account. You must know that we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data and its use by LinkedIn.
Further details on the collection of the data and on your legal options as well as setting options can be found on LinkedIn at http://www.linkedin.com/
When you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to other providers to whom we have links on our site. You can recognize these providers by the marking on the box above its initial letter or the logo. We give you the opportunity to communicate directly with the provider via the button. Only if you click on the marked field and thereby activate it, the provider receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offer. By activating the button, personal data will be transmitted from you to the respective provider and stored there (for US providers in the USA). Since the provider collects data in particular via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via the security settings of your browser before clicking on the greyed-out box. We have no influence on the collected data and data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full scope of the data collection, the purposes of the processing, the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the collected data by the provider. The provider stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation takes place in particular (also for users who are not logged in) to display needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website.
You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact the respective provider to exercise this right. Via the buttons, we offer you the opportunity to interact with the social networks and other users, so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the buttons is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest in use arises from enabling our users to communicate across platforms and thus creating a comfortable user experience. The data transfer takes place regardless of whether you have an account with the provider and are logged in there. If you are logged in to the provider, your data collected by us will be assigned directly to your provider of the clicked button to an existing account.
If you press the activated button and, for example, link the page, the provider also stores this information in your user account and communicates it publicly to your contacts. We recommend that you log out regularly after using a social network, but in particular before activating the button, as this allows you to avoid being assigned to your profile with the provider. Further information on the purpose and scope of the data collection and its processing by the provider can be found in the data protection declarations of these providers at the addresses mentioned above. There you will also find further information about your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy.
3 YouTube
Our website uses a link to YouTube of Google Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. In this case, it will be transmitted which specific page of our website you visit and which video is viewed. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your page views directly to your personal profile. Further information on the collection and processing of your data by YouTube can be found in the corresponding data protection information on www.youtube.com. If you want to make sure that no data about you is stored on YouTube, do not click on the embedded videos.
